Beginner – Intermediate Program:
Coaching Systems for grooming India’s talent – Enrico Piperno Tennis Trust has introduced in India Progressive Tennis, a tennis program for 5 - 15year old’s which allows young players to learn and play the game more quickly, efficiently and successfully. It uses a systematic progression of court sizes, height of the net, balls and rackets to scale the game down to an appropriate level for 5 - 15year old’s. It is imported from European countries such as France and Belgium where it was used to successfully develop players like Justine Henin- Hardenne and Oliver Rochus. The Beginner – Intermediate Program is based on a curriculum created by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and being currently used in USA, Europe and Asia. We aim to provide constructive and meaningful sports exposure to young children through Tennis at an early age, in terms of general fitness, motor skills, hand eye co-ordination, muscle memory etc. This would be done in a way that makes Tennis more attractive and a lot of fun. At the same time we try to inculcate the basics of the sports in the children and provide them a ‘feel’ for the game at a very early age. Timing for Beginner – Intermediate Program: The following 6 sessions are conducted for the Junior Coaching Program. Coaching Program is held 3 days a week for 1 hour each day.
